Himachal Pradesh

The Government of Himachal Pradesh, through the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (HPERC), has implemented policies to promote the adoption of solar energy in the state. The HPERC (Rooftop Solar PV Grid Interactive System based on Net Metering) Regulations, 2015, along with subsequent amendments, provide a framework for integrating rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems with the state’s electricity grid, encouraging consumers to utilise renewable energy sources.
